Update on the first meeting of the new Dorset B12 Deficiency Support Group
This was held on Friday 28 November at The Angel Inn Longham – we were made to feel very welcome and given a private room, and this will continue to be our regular venue.
It was a very successful morning with lots of chat about all things B12d.
In the form of an informal Coffee Morning I was pleased that everyone was happy to share their experiences, and were very soon exchanging tips and strategies in coping with their symptoms. I think that so much was gained by everyone.
They were delighted with the excellent B12d leaflets with the excellent information that I had been sent to distribute.
I am happy to include the feedback I have since received from them – in the hope of encouraging others in the area to join us for our next meeting planned for January.
It was good to meet and discuss the personal experiences of how differently B12 deficiency and its treatment affects people, and the b12d.org info sheet given out was VERY useful and informative.Margaret B
I found the first meeting of this group very informative. The meeting has made me look at my various symptoms in the round. I am now considering whether the deficiency is perhaps the key to the loss of my previous vigorous self. I will certainly dig deeper to learn more.Sharen G
Thank you to Patricia for organising the first Dorset B12 Deficiency meeting last week. It was really interesting hearing other people’s experiences and talking about my own, which I haven’t really done before.I hope this helps to inspire other people to join the group.Diane S
