Dr. David Grimes Vitamin D And B12
One of the failings of medical training seems to be that nutrition is only given a short mention, because in a “developed country”, poor nutrition was considered only a minor risk. With poverty, and the range of fad diets which prioritise price and fashion over nutritional value, I think the medical institutions are beginning to regret this. Anyway, what it comes down to is that there are many charities concerned with poor nutrition, and the Vitamin D interest groups can be some of our closest allies.
David gave a fascinating talk about Vitamin D and its origins, and why it’s important to us. He’s an encyclopaedia of knowledge on Vitamin D and we will have him back to elaborate.
