Sally Pacholok is the author of the book “Could it be B12?” and film of her story – “Sally Pacholok”

Sally is an Emergency Department nurse who recognised a lot of people coming into her hospital with a particular cluster of symptoms. She found out that these symptoms are associated with B12 deficiency and launched a nationwide – now global – campaign to raise awareness of the condition and promote early treatment, so that people could live healthy lives. 

Dr David Morris posted a number of videos and articles, so we thought it might be good to get him to answer questions, which means we’re going to suggest you watch a video by him beforehand and submit questions by Mentimeter Watch The Video : Dr Morris on understanding the central role of B12.

One of the failings of medical training seems to be that nutrition is only given a short mention, because in a “developed country”, poor nutrition was considered only a minor risk. With poverty, and the range of fad diets which prioritise price and fashion over nutritional value, I think the medical institutions are beginning to regret this.
